Insulated baselayers? Yep. That’s a thing. The Flylow Puffer Pant is a fleece long underwear bottom that’s got panels of warm down insulation on the upper half of the pants, where you could use a little extra coverage when riding cold chairlifts or touring on a frigid day. They also do double duty as loungewear in a backcountry hut or on a powder-chasing road trip.

Flylow Puffer Pants Features:

  • Gridded fleece with strategically placed insulated panels where you need the most warmth
  • Stretch waistband with drawstring
  • Open hand pockets

Materials:

  • Furano Fleece: 94% polyster, 6% spandex - A proprietary Furano Fleece, by Intuitive, looks all comfy and soft, but it’s way tougher than your average teddy bear. It’s got a smooth-faced surface that blocks wind and a grid backing that adds warmth. Because it’s coated in a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent, you can wear it on its own as an exterior layer or layer it under a shell for extra insulation.
  • Pertex Quantum: 100% polyamide: What good is down insulation inside a jacket if the exterior fabric isn’t doing anything in support? Pertex Quantum is like the insulation’s maid of honor—it’s there to make sure all the pieces fall into place. This tightly woven exterior fabric, constructed from fine yarns, has a light, soft feel that allows the insulation to fully loft. It traps still air to improve the warmth and efficiency of the insulating layer, and it’s coated with a DWR to dispel wind, rain, and snow.
  • 40-gram Greenloft recycled insulation
