The fully-adjustable Freeride Spacer definitely closes the gap in between Free Touring and Free Ride categories and moves precision and power transmission to a racing Alpine binding level. The spacer provides an incredible torsional stiffness to the boot and transfers the vertical pressure of big jumps and cliffs directly on the ski, still keeping the lateral elasticity to provide a proper lateral release.

ATK Freeraider 14 AP Binding Features

Toe piece:

• Snowpack Proof System: prevents snow and ice debris from accumulating under the mobile parts of the toe piece.
• Uphill Hardness Variator: a system that you can use to adjust the stiffness of the toe-lug lock in up-hill mode.
• Easy Entry System: when you’re on a hurry and don’t want to miss any precious second, it’s better to have a toe piece designed to facilitate an immediate step-in.
• Included Toe Shims: When installed under the toe pieces, these accessories reduce the heel-to-toe drop by 4mm, providing an optional, more neutral stance
• Integrated rampant support.

Heel piece:

• AP Brake System: rotate the head of the binding while holding down the pedal to switch from uphill to downhill mode. No lateral button required thanks to this new ATK brake management system.
• Cam Release System: ATK’s signature patented system that contributes to an effortless step-in and grants amazing torsional stiffness.
• Elastic Response System: it ensures precise releases and optimal skis performances by facilitating their natural flex, enhancing downhill performances.
