The Petzl Glacier Ice Axe is meant for what its name says so well, glacier travel! The profile of the pick is designed so that it provides excellent grip in hard snow and ice when used for anchoring. The shaft is made from anodized aluminum contributing to the light weight of this tool and preventing it to rust. This ice axe comes with Petzl's linkin Leash.
