Use the Petzl Griptape on the shaft of your ice tool to get a better grip on it for added precision when you are climbing. The Griptape also provides a little insulation that your fingers might appreciate on colder days. One roll is enough for one tool.

 

 

Petzl Griptape Features:

 

  • To apply, wrap the tape around the shaft stretching it as you go. The tape will adhere as it contracts, although it's not sticky like conventional tape.
  • Dimensions are 19mm width x 1m length. Enough for a single tool.
  • Same tape as the stuff used on Petzl Nomic tools.
